July 17: Meeting Bin Laden: From Shelter Island to the Terrorist's Cave
Former ABC News correspondent John Miller, the only journalist ever to interview Osama bin Laden, will share film footage of his historic 1998 meeting with the world's most wanted man in Afghanistan and his reporting on Al Qaeda and 9/11, which have won two Peabody Awards and nine Emmys. Before joining the FBI's Public Affairs Department, he was the LAPD bureau chief for counter terrorism and criminal intelligence and an NYPD deputy police commissioner.
